Thomas N. Fischgrund, Esq.
Thomas N. Fischgrund, Esq., is the son of an army officer who traveled extensively while growing up. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia, Master in Urban and Regional Planning from Virginia Tech, and Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law.
Tom has been licensed to practice law in the State of Florida since 1992 and in the United States District Court since 1993. His legal experience includes handling well over 100 adoption cases. Additionally, he has been on the court-appointed dependency list in Pinellas County, Florida since 1992 wherein he has represented parents and sometimes children in over 1,500 juvenile dependency cases (both dependency and termination of parental rights type cases combined), at the trial and, at times, appellate level.
Additionally, Tom has been a member of the Dependency Court Improvement Committee (Pinellas County, Florida), and of the Pinellas Family Law Advisory Group and Child Protection Subcommittee. He has also been on the Board of Directors of Suncoast Voices for Children.
